I photographed this family a year ago for their maternity session - it was a cold, beautiful session. I've photographed Brendan and the Carr family many times, but this was my first session with Brendan and his wife Alexus. Since then, they had their baby and moved away when Brendan joined the Air Force. This past August, Brendan was killed in a tragic dirt bike accident. And just like that several entire families were forever changed. I want to be able to photograph both Alexus and Brenn each year in memory and honor of Brendan, and this was our first session for Brenn's 1st birthday. Brenn is a spitting image of her Daddy - she has his complexion and smile, and her Momma's eyes. She's a perfect combination of her parents. And she's such a happy baby! Alexus also asked if I could put together a family photo of the three of them since we never got to take one, so the images with Brendan are from the maternity session a year ago. I'm glad I was able to do this for them. I hope you enjoy a peek from our session together. ♥
