I started photographing this family when I very first started my business. Really, even before I started my business, when I was still practicing and trying to decide if I wanted to make this photography thing a real thing. I'm so glad Sarah encouraged me to go for it. And after years of session, loads of classes, and many amazing clients, I'm so glad to still be photographing this family.

I can't believe how much they have changed in the past year! Obadiah is taller than me! And he drives! Julia is a beautiful young lady... last year she still had a bit of "child" in her, but this year she's blossomed and I can see who she'll be as an adult. Thank goodness Jessica still has some "child" in her. She's older, but the kid is definitely still there. I realize it's just a matter of time before I photograph them again and she's a young lady too. Just like my kids, blink your eyes and they've grown up.

Anyway, we had a great session on their property in Black Forest, and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening together!
