The Conquest family is the family I've photographed the longest, and Jean Luc was just a kid when I started taking photos of them! Now he's married to a beautiful woman and has two gorgeous little girls. When they contacted me about doing a newborn session, I honestly was planning to take the rest of December off, but I always try to make exceptions for newborns... you can't exactly tell them when to arrive! Plus I really didn't want to miss out on photographing a newborn, they are my absolute favorite sessions. Little Olivia was 13 days old for her session and she was perfect. She loved to nurse, so we worked around feeding her, and eventually she took to a pacifier like a pro. Often a newborn first uses a pacifier for the first time at a session, and it can be helpful when settling them or finishing up a pose. Her big sister Willow eventually warmed up to me and loved holding her baby sister... those two are going to be the best of friends. ♥
