This wedding was my first for 2020, and I couldn't have chosen a better couple to start the wedding season off with! Emma and Connor are not only fun, but love deeply, they take care of those around them, and were simply gorgeous to photograph. I have known Connor's family for many years and I've photographed him since he was boy. Watching him grow up and now take on the responsibility and blessing of a wife was a delight to witness. And Emma... wow, God hand-picked an amazing woman not only for Connor but for his family also.
There is so much I could say about these two, but I'll share a few tidbits. I love how Connor could NOT stop staring at Emma during the ceremony. They absolutely love their doggies. Emma makes the BEST silly faces. And they both have some dance moves! Connor's father (Toby) was the officiant for their ceremony, and afterwards Toby spoke about Emma and Connor's servant hearts. Toby said during the ceremony the wind was blowing his pages around and both Emma and Connor automatically reached over to hold the pages down so he could continue speaking... it spoke so clearly to Toby of their servant's hearts, and I am honored to have captured that image. As I photographed Emma while she was getting ready, I noticed that she was ready early so she could help the other gals get ready - their hair, makeup... she served. When Connor gave his men ties to wear for the ceremony, his little brother was unsure of how to tie it. Connor gladly took the tie, put it on himself, tied it, then put the tie on his brother - no hesitation to serve. They are both a witness to the younger ones of how one should lead... by serving. I'm so excited to watch their lives and see how the Lord will use them.
Thank you Connor and Emma for choosing me to photography your amazing day!
